Why 90 Days?

Brand launches fail for one of two reasons: they happen too fast (no foundation, no systems) or too slow (momentum dies, team loses belief). The 90-day framework solves both. It's long enough to build something real, short enough to maintain urgency.

We've now run this framework with over 40 clients across F&B, real estate, fashion, fintech, and professional services. The outputs vary. The phases don't.

Phase 1: Discovery (Days 1–30)

Nothing gets built in Phase 1. Everything gets understood. We run four core discovery workshops: competitive landscape mapping, target customer deep-dives (minimum 8 qualitative interviews), internal culture and values extraction, and commercial model analysis.

The deliverable at the end of Phase 1 is a single document: the Brand Strategy Platform. It defines the positioning, the audience, the personality, the promise, and the reason to believe. This becomes the filter for every decision in Phases 2 and 3.

The most common mistake: skipping discovery because "we already know our market." In 80% of cases, the qualitative interviews reveal a significant assumption the leadership team held that was simply wrong.

Phase 2: Identity (Days 31–60)

Now we build. Visual identity system (logo, colors, typography, iconography, photography style). Brand voice guidelines with examples. Core messaging hierarchy — the three to five messages the brand must land at every touchpoint.

We also build the content system: what the brand will publish, at what frequency, on what channels, and for what purpose. Brands that skip this end up posting random content and wondering why it doesn't build anything.

Phase 2 ends with a complete brand playbook — a living document that lets any team member, agency, or vendor create on-brand work without needing to come back to us every time.

Phase 3: Activation (Days 61–90)

Launch is not one event. It's a sequence. We plan three waves:

  • Wave 1 (Days 61–70): Soft activation — seeding the brand with influencers, early customers, and media. No hard selling. Building awareness and credibility.
  • Wave 2 (Days 71–80): Main launch — paid media, PR, events, partnerships. Full brand presence across all agreed channels simultaneously.
  • Wave 3 (Days 81–90): Conversion push — retargeting warm audiences from waves 1 and 2, testimonial-led content, offer-driven campaigns.

What Kills a Launch

Based on our data: internal approval delays in Phase 2 (most common), changing the strategy after Phase 1 because leadership "saw something on Instagram," launching on too many channels simultaneously without the content volume to sustain them, and — most damaging — treating launch as the finish line rather than the starting gun.

A launch is a moment. Brand-building is a system. The 90-day framework is designed to build the system, not just create the moment.
